Umbra Scryer is a post-industrial electronic music project by Ryan Spellman. The majority of the music is created using hardware synthesizers, drum machines, and real world samples.
Though recorded and sometimes manipulated (i.e. application of effects) in a DAW, the focus is to keep the music creation aspect as far from the computer environment as possible.
